Will Perry, our new Rector

On 17 July, we were able to make the official announcement that our new Rector will be Will Perry, currently a curate at Holy Trinity Brompton (HTB). It’s been clear for some time that this would be what happened, but we’re delighted that it is now official. The coming of Will and his wife Sophie and the partnership with HTB mark a new and exciting chapter in what God is doing in Leatherhead – Praise the Lord!

Then, on 24 July, we were able to announce that Will will be supported by a new Associate Minister, Tom Hill, who is just finishing his Curacy at Claygate.  This second appointment is a real demonstration of commitment by our Diocese to the revitalisation of our parish.

Will, Sophie, and their son Jonny will, all being well, move into the Rectory in August, and we hope that Tom, his wife Megan, and their children will also move to the parish in August.  We hope there will a midweek Licencing Service towards the end of August for both of them, then Will’s first full Sunday with us will be a week or so into September. Watch this space for confirmation of dates.
