We are part of a national network of churches working in our local community alongside people of all faiths and none to support individuals and families in need. We are helping people to overcome pressing social challenges by addressing three key areas: Crisis, Cause and Care.

CRISIS

We support those in emergency situations through crisis food provision and other immediate help. This includes working with refugees, those who find themselves homeless and ex offenders.

CAUSE

We identify root causes of poverty and help to advise, equip and signpost people. We work closely with the following organisations to help us achieve this

CARE

We provide community-based support through ongoing wrap-around care such as small weekly groups, drop-in cafes and supportive relationships through the church.

  • Martha’s Market is the perfect place to meet friends and make new ones over a tea or coffee.

There is a variety of stalls selling delicious local and home-made produce,, farm eggs, plants, a whole range of handicrafts and gifts, cards and more.

Martha’s Market runs in The Lighthouse between 10.30am – 12.00 noon on Thursdays that fall on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month.

  • We don’t want to see anyone in our community go hungry. We collect food and toiletries for our local foodbank and some of our congregation volunteer at the foodbank on a Saturday morning at the North Leatherhead Community Centre.

  • We want to offer a huge welcome to all refugees. We are part of the Welcome Churches network and would love to meet you and find out how we can help and make you feel at home in the UK. Speak to us in person at one of our Sunday services or midweek activities.
