Martha’s Market is currently suspended following the COVID restrictions. We hope to return in the Autumn of 2021.
Martha’s Market is the perfect place to meet friends and make new ones over a tea or coffee.
There is a variety of stalls selling delicious home-made preserves, cakes, farm eggs, plants (in season), a whole range of handicrafts and gifts, cards, haberdashery and quality bric-a-brac.
Martha’s Market runs in the Parish Church Hall between 10am – 11.30am on Fridays that fall on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Fridays of the month (please check the website calendar for any exceptions).
Tables can be booked on a regular or occasional basis, in return for just 10% of sales towards hall costs. Please contact Janine Stagg on 01372 374914 with any queries.
Hearing Champions is a drop-in hearing aid clinic that usually takes place the 3rd Friday of the month at Martha’s Market.
Volunteers can check hearing aids are working properly, as well as offering basic maintenance services including re-tubing, ear mould cleaning and battery replacement.
Celebrating the valuable contribution that volunteers and faith communities play in supporting the NHS and improving health and wellbeing in their communities, Hearing Champions was the Faith Action Award Winner in 2018.
