Please help the Parish Hall Committee secure funding to replace the Hall heating and hot water system.

The Parish Hall heating and hot water system, which has served us well for over 40 years, needs to be replaced as it is no longer reliable or efficient and is beyond economic repair. The Committee has sought expert guidance on the optimal system in terms of installation, running costs, efficiency, environmental impact and ‘future-proofing’… the cost could exceed £48,000. Ordinarily, the Hall is largely self-sufficient in running costs, however, we have insufficient funds for this level of capital expenditure and have suffered from dramatically reduced income during the COVID-19 lock-downs.

The Hall is a valuable local resource, providing multi-functional and accessible facilities for all members of the community. It operates on a not-for profit basis and is a registered charity. The heating project will be carefully managed by an accountable and dedicated Committee – please help us to continue playing a key role in the local community with a safe, friendly, functional, warm and comfortable place for a wide range of activities.
