Making history for the next 1000 years

Creating a more flexible space to facilitate a wider range of community and worship activities in a beautiful historic setting

Generations of Christians have worshipped here, faithfully serving the people of Leatherhead. The church is part of our local heritage and continues to play an important role within our community.

However, the 21st century presents new challenges for our generation. We are transforming our church building from a one day a week, single use building into a seven day a week, multi-use building.

We have already completed the replacement of the rotting woodblock floor and uneconomical pipe heating, as well as remodelling some areas of the church for step-free access.

The next round of funding is to raise £20,000 to run drainage from the proposed kitchen to the main drains in the road. Vital amenities, including kitchen and toilets, will greatly further the use of the building.

We are excited by the progress to date and look forward to welcoming worshipers and visitors to this beautiful re-imagined space. Our aim is to grow a healthy, vibrant church in which lives are transformed and our community is enriched.
