Everything we do as a church is made possible by your praying, serving and giving. Thank you for your generosity.
As Christians, giving is our response to God’s amazing grace and the indescribable gift of his son to us. Generous giving blesses others and supplies the needs of God’s people, it is also an act of obedience and trust – in doing it we are saying that it is God, not ourselves or anyone else, who ultimately provides for our needs. Giving should never be forced or grudging, but rather voluntary and cheerful. ‘Let each one give as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves a giver whose heart is in his giving.’ (2 Corinthians 9:7).
We are grateful for each gift no matter what the amount or how the gift is made, however if you’re part of HTB, and in a position to give financially, we would love for you to consider setting up a regular, monthly gift. Regular giving is crucial for us as it enables us to plan impactful, long-term projects and reach as many people as possible with the love of Jesus
GENEROUS GIVING – A WAY OF LIVING
In addition to giving time and talents, we encourage you to give financially on a regular basis through planned giving and using Gift Aid (if a UK taxpayer). Regular donations assist the Treasurer in forecasting the level of receipts and managing the accounts.
Parish Giving Scheme (PGS)
The easiest and most efficient way of giving toward the work of this church is through membership of the Parish Giving Scheme (PGS). A regular donation to the PGS by Direct Debit is returned to this parish each month, together with the reclaimed tax through Gift Aid.
Bank Standing Order
The best way to set up a standing order is through online banking or by contacting your bank, using LPC’s bank details. Our account details are:
Parochial Church Council of Leatherhead
Sort Code: 20-29-90
Account No: 90692611
Quote the reference as your first name and surname.
Note: Once you’ve set up a standing order or recurring gift, email the team at email@example.com to let us know. This allows us to identify your gift, create an annual statement for you, and thank you.
Give at a Service
A collection is taken at all Sunday services. Cash or cheques can be placed directly into the collection plate. Using the yellow gift aid envelopes, available from the welcome desk, enables us to additionally reclaim tax through Gift Aid (if you are a UK taxpayer). We also have a card reader for giving electronically.
