About Us

The Parish Church of St Mary and St Nicholas, Leatherhead is an Anglican church within the Diocese of Guildford.

We believe church is more than its building and a religious institution. We are a family, meeting together to worship, encouraging one another in our faith journeys, and providing practical support.

Additionally we look to serve the wider community and see lives transformed through the love of Jesus. As well as Sunday worship services, we run activities and groups designed to help build community. There is a particular focus on supporting families and people, who are socially isolated.

In 2005 our daughter church, All Saints, was turned into a state-of-the-art youth centre for the Leatherhead Youth Project. Today it is also a social enterprise café, offering apprenticeships to disadvantaged young people.

The parishes of Leatherhead and Mickleham are a United Benefice, sharing resources and opportunities to grow together in our shared ministries and mission.

As part of the wider Christian community in Leatherhead, we work with other churches in the town through Churches Together in Leatherhead. There is also a Covenant relationship with the Methodist church.

We’d love to get to know you, so hope you are able to participate in one of our events or come along to a service soon.
