There are many ways in which you can contribute to the life and work in the parish. We will be delighted for you to join in one of them as described on the other pages. Here we dwell on one aspect, financial giving. The work we do in Leatherhead depends on donations from our congregation and others. Our understanding on giving starts on the premise that God does not need our money because he owns everything (Psalm 24:1). We however give generously to the work of God out of gratitude for who he is and as an act of worship.
How can I give to the work of Leatherhead Parish?
You can make a one off gift. Please contact our treasurer about this.
If you pay UK tax (Income or Capital Gains Tax) and would like us to claim back the basic rate tax, you will need to fill in, sign and return to us an ongoing Gift Aid declaration, if you have not done so already. If you do this we will recover the basic rate of income tax. (If you pay higher rate tax, you may recover this through your own tax return.) Please click here for a gift aid declaration form.
For regular giving we encourage people to set up a Banker’s Standing Order. This delivers your gift to our bank account promptly and we reclaim basic rate tax.
A regular collection is taken at all Sunday services. Please use the gift aid envelopes placed at the back of pews.
